Tracey collaborates with her peers to facilitate learning in literacy, engineering, philanthropy, computer science, 3D printing and reading. She is also one of the founders of a philanthropic engineering group called  Engineering Brightness, a global collaboration where multi age students collaborate to engineer and distribute hand held, 3D printed, sustainable lanterns. Engineering Brightness hopes to impact the 1.3 billion people who do not have reliable access to electricity.

Tracey is an original member of the board of directors for the STEM Educator Symposium (SES). Tracey and three of her colleagues plan, create and facilitate professional development for 50 educators worldwide every year. The SES fosters creativity, curiosity and applicable pedagogy to be immediately applied in classrooms.

Tracey also teaches Instructional Technology and Assessment Colorado State University. She enjoys bridging the gap between K-12 and higher education. Tracey has been very fortunate to work with amazing colleagues, students and community members. She has spoken at conferences at the local, state, national and international level. Every year her professional learning circle grows and inspires Tracey to keep learning and being the best teacher she can be.

Colorado is Tracey’s home. She and her family enjoy the beauty and excitement of the region by camping, hiking, and preparing many home grown meals together. Tracey believes in humanity and is often humbled by others philanthropic, kind and intellectual contributions. She is grateful for her twenty years in education and is curious and fascinated by what the future of education will hold.
